The Oscars can be summed up in three words:
Word Number Uno: Red
Word Number Dos and Tres: Slick hair
I dont think I was wowed by any one person...it was a "Really, she chose that?!" type of year...
BUT, uber excited Sandra Bullock won :)
PS: Is it just me or is George Clooney's new gal got a bit of bitch in her? She didn't seem like she could be bothered to stand for anyone...sigh, you aint the first and you ain't gonna be the last.

Haha- I agree, but I also felt like there weren't enough disasters on the red carpet. Nobody (except maybe Sandy Powell) really wore anything super quirky. There were some definite misses but disasters? I didn't see any. And I find that so disappointing!

The hair was really boring across the board, but I loved Zoe Saldana's Givenchy couture gown!

Renee - yup, it was just boring all around!!
Michael - you know at first I hated Zoe's dress but honestly, it stood out so much more than what everyone else had on!!! Kudos to her :)

Nanci - thank you so much for that wonderful post :) Honor to have a reader like you and will edit my blog roll soon to add Purse Pixie ^.^
If only someone had worn the Hello Kitty dress modeled by Barbie...! Where is Bjork when you need her? Although, I have to admit I loved the swan dress. It was the elephant knee "nude" tights that were the problem for me.
^^LOL, too bad they didn't invite Lady Gaga to the Oscars this year!
