After The Rain

After two days of non-stop rain, sunny So-Cal was back in action today:

I decided it was finally time to let my cats get a little bit of fresh air out on the balcony. Olivia was hesitant to go far and stayed close to the door. She actually freaked out for a bit when my mom closed it on her as a joke...LOL :P

On the other hand, Libby is basically ready to set up permanent camp outside:

But enough about my babies. Time to talk about Poseidon. I found it rather appropriate that Poseidon showed up on my doorstep just two days before the heavy rains hit. Here is my new love:

Photobucket

Lavender Poseidon, a one size run, Horatio exclusive which means I am currently the only person with these beauties in a size 37...IN THE ENTIRE WORLD :) CL fanatics have been anxiously anticipating the arrival of the Poseidon which comes in silver, gold, pearl, aqua, and lavender. I originally had my name down for pearl but the pearl turned out to be almost identical to the silver. I was secretly happy since it meant one less thing to spend money on but when pictures of the lavender Poseidon popped up, I knew my CC was doomed. No pain, no gain. These are so freakin worth it. Made basically with the same technique as the NGs, the Poseidon is satin with pieces of sequins meticulously sewn on. Poseidon because of the fish scale effect. The Toisson will be an SCP exclusive but ETA is still TBD and will be in the Ron Ron style. Okay, I need to stop blogging right now cus I'm too busy running around screaming my head off for THE SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!! Before I go, the Poseidon has given me the ability to walk sideways:

And sharing a lovely little gift from my SA. I was going back and forth with her on sizing and she got me some Dr. Scholls padding just in case these were too big for me :) BTW - the fit is perfect but will most likely stretch with wear so these pads will definitely come in handy. Alright back to cheering and screaming my head off ^.^

And PS: GO SAINTS!! Sorry, I'm just really, really, REALLY happy right now :) :) :)

*UPDATE: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I am officially a Super Bowl lucky charm...HAHA. Best five minutes of my life. Drew Brees (break my my heart why dont you with your adorable son), Reggie Bush, and Scott Fujita (you too, heartbreaker with the cute kids) = L O V E. Alright, I'll stop now. Wait, one last thing, I hope the Manning family isn't too upset over this...SUCKERS.

**UPDATE: 02/23/2010 - Alright, turns out this is not a Horatio exclusive after all. BNY is getting them!!! I guess I can still claim to be the FIRST person with them on in a size 37..lol

I just found your blog, and am in total awe of your shoes and bags. Perfection.

I also love when stylish bloggers have cats. It endears me to them.

Seriously, love the blog!

HAHAHA...hi T!! I love the Poseidons but sadly, getting them meant really committing myself to the CCLO :( The balcony isn't carpeted but its finished off with something that somehow keeps it clean?? LOL, I'm sure theres a more technical explanation but yea...

Hi JK :) Thanks so much for the comment and I'm glad to hear you enjoy my blog.

Hi SoCal!! Have lots of fun for me in NYC and pick up some PYTHON!!!!

doublezero - thanks so much!! 12 is a very good-sized collection. I was actually at 12 for the longest time then jumped up to 16 during one sale season and after that it just kept on getting bigger...

Awwww, thank you, Megan!!! I'm also always so happy to find people who appreciate my cats just as much as me...lol ^.^

Love the Poseidons! ... I've been glowing all week from the P Manning MELTDOWN at the big moment when he was supposed to be proving that he was the "best QB of all time" ... hahah ... loser! Anyways, it's great to see the Saints win and I've always had a soft spot for Drew Brees since he was on the Chargers.

LOL, Michelle! Me too!!

Olivia looks so sexy as she was coming out that door...like she's on your heels or something...lol

Purse Addict said...

^^LOL, she was actually terrified. It took her a few minutes to even come close to the open door and then she would test it out by putting one paw out and then retreating back. She did that until her entire body was out...

Thanks, Khatu! I might wear these to my friend's wedding this summer since her colors are purple and pewter :)

Such a perfect pair of Loubs!

You're blog is great, I admire your passion. Admittedly I'm a bit of a heel addict myself, so it definitely helps that I work at a runway shoe store...and just had to feature your blog on our blog today: www.monaloves.com

If you're ever on Abbot Kinney in Venice, stop by Mona Moore and say hi. We can compare what we've both got on our feet!

^^Thank you! I owe my luck to the shopping gods but the credit for my quick thinking should go to my shoe friends :)
