My Army Of Shoes (160+ Pictures Just For You)

Sorry, this post took a bit longer than expected but it is finally here - a post dedicated to my lovely designer shoes. I'm currently battling a MEAN sinus infection so for now, please just enjoy the pictures and I will be back later to edit this post with more information regarding each shoe, my collection in general, and to organize the pictures so that they are in some sort of order. I will also be adding this post to the sidebar (under "Previous Posts That You Might Find Useful") for easy access in the future.

**UPDATE 01/19/10: I'm going to slowly go through this post right now to add commentary to the individual shoes as needed. I probably wont get around to re-organizing the photos so scratch that from my original post :) I will be continuously updating this post from now until all eternity cus I want to keep all of my shoes in one place. I will of course alert you guys if this post gets updated. Again, this will stay in the side-bar so you wont have to go through pages and pages of old posts just to find it. As of today, besides the commentary that will be added, I have also updated this post to add my new TB Reva flats :)

Family picture of all my shoes together

<span class=

Family picture of my CLs

<span class=

<span class=

Individual shots of each CL plus modeling pictures:

Lola

<span class=

I admit, I got these because they were on sale. They dont look like it but the heel measures in at 120mm. No platform and that equals pain. For that reason, I dont wear them that often :P I'm also realizing that I appreciate the metal heel just cus they're not so common amongst CLs.

<span class=

Studded Very Prive

<span class=

I think you've heard and seen enough abt these shoes. I love them. My mom sorta hates them but also sorta loves them. My co-worker saw them and I wasn't sure if he was trying to compliment them or insult them by calling them "interesting". I think it was more of the look he gave me that pissed me off. In any case, I replied "They're sort of a big deal" and that was that.

<span class=

Somewhere

<span class=

If you remember, I had originally gotten these shoes when they first came out but ended up returning them since they weren't so comfy (again, 120mm plus no platform equals pain). When they went on sale, I of course had to get them back and here they are!

<span class=

No Prive - Lilac Suede

<span class=

Start of my lilac suede love affair. Also my first purchase from my now favorite SA in the whole US of A :)

<span class=

Architek

<span class=

1/2 size too big for me but I still love them.

<span class=

Very Galaxy - Fuxia

<span class=

Still one of my favorite pairs. If you remember, I freaked out over these when I first tried them on at the SCP boutique. The price stopped me but when they went on sale on NAP, I couldn't pay fast enough! One of the SAs at the BH boutique told DZ and I that CL won't be making anything like these again since it took way too much work. If you see this upclose, you'll understand what she means...

<span class=

Fishnet Slingbacks (sorry, dont know the official name for these)

<span class=

My Vegas shoes :) The fishnet adds that funky/call-girl vibe to them. We're still trying to figure out the official name...

<span class=

Decolzep

<span class=

My fourth pair of CLs :)

<span class=

Bianca - Rouge Patent

<span class=

Looking at these makes me sad that I returned my Rouge Rolandos :( They also make me think about getting another pair of Biancas...

<span class=

<span class=

Pigalle 120s - Black Paillette

<span class=

Hurts like a mother to walk in these. I probably will just end up getting these signed and be happy with that.

<span class=

Alti 160s - Black Jazz

<span class=

160mm. End of story.

<span class=

Declic 120s - Electric Blue Suede

<span class=

The original EB. I have to thank Holly of The Hills for making me covet these shoes. I saw her wearing these on the cover of US Weekly and thats when I realized how spectacular they were. I also have to thank DZ for getting them for me when she was out shopping :D

<span class=

Maggie

<span class=

As luck would have it, the first day I wore these out, I had to run around like crazy at work. I was almost in tears over the pain. Good thing I had flip-flops in my car or else I wouldn't have made it...

<span class=

No Prive - Multi-Color Glitter with Silver Specchio

<span class=

Ultimate Holy Grail found TWO years after they disappeared from stores in PRISTINE, NEVER BEFORE WORN condition. The shopping gods love me and I love them.

<span class=

Decollete - Gray Nabuck Python

<span class=

The only pair of python shoes that I've had to pay full retail price for. Would've loved to have gotten these in the Altadama as well. Heck, I'll take the Bianca too!

<span class=

Altadama - Green Watersnake

<span class=

Another one of my favorites. The style, the color, love.

<span class=

Rolando - Bronze Lamint0

<span class=

The Rolandos are probably my favorite CL style. Not the most comfy but after you practice walking in them, they're not THAT bad :)

<span class=

Rolando - Anthracite Suede

<span class=

<span class=

Rolando - Blue Patent (not sure what the official name of this color is)

<span class=

<span class=

No Prive - Burgundy Glittart

<span class=

Bought during the crazy Saks sale of 08. Good times.

<span class=

Gattaca - Pewter

<span class=

Professional but chic. I'll have to pull these out 3 years from now :)

<span class=

Rolande

<span class=

One of the first CLs I bought at BNY. So young, so unaddicted back then...

<span class=

Lady Claude - Blue Acid Python

<span class=

Another example of how much the shopping gods love me.

<span class=

New Simples - Black Kid Leather

<span class=

The New Simples are my go-to CL style. Classic and comfy.

<span class=

New Simples - Gray Kid

<span class=

<span class=

Simples (70mm) - Beige Python

<span class=

Again, the shopping gods showing some love. My BNY SA alerted me to these and they mark my first dip into the world of python CLs. I just wish the were higher...

<span class=

Fontanete - Beige and Blue Python

<span class=

Fontanetes are totally underrated. They came and went and are now hard to find. I would love to have a few more...

<span class=

Fontanete - Taupe Suede

<span class=

<span class=

Madame Claude - Leopard Patent

<span class=

I hate animal print but I love these. Perhaps I'm CL-biased but these I feel like aren't as tacky as some other styles that you see drifting around...

<span class=

Lady Claude - Black Patent with Burgundy Tip

<span class=

<span class=

New Simpes - Teal Patent

<span class=

Another one from the Saks 08 sale.

<span class=

Miss Fred

<span class=

Found these at a SUPER, DUPER good deal. Very appropriate for the holidays...LOL, thats when you know you've got a problem...

<span class=

Mamimo

<span class=

The one annoying thing abt these shoes is the fact that the laces tend to come apart super easily...I hate having to bend over to re-lace them...

<span class=

Orlan

<span class=

I have these to thank for all of my shoe-stretching knowledge :)

<span class=

Trottinette

<span class=

RP thinks these are badass..HAHA

<span class=

Ron Ron - Purple Patent (more of a burgundy with a touch of purple)

<span class=

I need to stop buying Ron Rons...

<span class=

Ron Ron - Gray Metal Patent

<span class=

<span class=

Ron Ron - Brown Glittart

<span class=

Saks 08 sale, again.

<span class=

Ron Ron - Lilac Suede

<span class=

<span class=

Love Pumps - Strass with Black Suede

<span class=

I only have a itty, bitty bit of strass. These are the only pair of CL strass that I can afford...my money tree needs to grow ASAP.

<span class=

<span class=

<span class=

Ron Ron - Marine Glitter

<span class=

<span class=

Altadama - Purple/Plum Suede (again, more of a burgundy with a touch of purple)

<span class=

<span class=

Pigalle Finzi

<span class=

Runway style that came and went.

<span class=

Lillian

<span class=

I hate how long it takes for me to buckle these up...

<span class=

Very Croise - Black with Silver Specchio

<span class=

<span class=

Declic 140s - Peacock Suede

<span class=

My newest CLs!! Just got these last Friday...the color is one of those hard to find colors and 140mm Declics are also close to impossible to find. Yes, my shopping gods are always watching out for me!

Scissor Girl - Gray Suede

Photobucket

Wow, I didn't realize how many pairs of shoes I got during the Saks 08 sale...

Photobucket

Tenue - Brown Suede

Photobucket

Another one of my first pairs of CLs - I've only worn them once but I refuse to sell them!

Photobucket

Miss Boxe - Roccia Python

Photobucket

I need more wedges. More python would be nice too.

Photobucket

Activa

Photobucket

Another one of my first CLs :) If you're wondering, I didn't start with one pair. I got started with three...all on sale, all from BNY.

SUPER, DUPER deal from the YSL outlet :)

Photobucket

Lanvin Mary Janes

Photobucket

Photobucket

YSL Vera Slingbacks

Bought because I couldn't get my hands on the Tribute pumps. I think these are actually even more funky than the Tributes and looking at the picture makes me want to wear them out...

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Fendi

Photobucket

RP also thinks these are badass :) This annoying lady at work used to stalk me because of these shoes. She kept on trying to tell me that her son was a shoe designer or something. I'm not really sure what she wanted me to do...

Dont you just love those days when you're strolling around Bloomies with your brother and you drag him over to the shoe dept "just for a quick look" and happen to find out that theres a shoe sale going on?!?!? I love it.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Lanvin - Gray Python

Photobucket

Buying python when I didn't even know I was buying python. Love it!

Photobucket

Alaia - Gray Lizard with Black Suede

These are super duper cool on. They look sorta boring in the front but the party is in the back :)

Photobucket

Prada

Photobucket

Basic black pumps. Make sure you have a pair.

Photobucket

Fendi Ballerina flats

Photobucket

These fit super duper tight and although they are like ultra-luxurious leather bedroom slippers, they really do cut into your heel so not the most comfy but cute :P

Photobucket

Nicholas Kirkwood

Photobucket

A genius. A genius that I've neglected for the sake of another genius. Sad but I think I'll start looking for a new pair of NK heels soon :)

**Update 01/19/10:

New TB Reva flats in navy suede

I'm super picky abt flats. I either go super, duper cheap (as in 2 for $30) or I go for Reva flats which I think are reasonably priced. You see, the misconception about flats is that they're comfy. Not all of them. Actually only a select few are truly comfortable. I know Lanvins are comfy but honestly, $600 for flats??!

SJP said...

Hi - Quick question, how much did you have to size up in your chanel mary janes?

I've been wanting that pair in nude but it's online and don't know how the sizing will go....

Thanks!

Purse Addict said...

Hi SJP - The Chanel MJs are true to your Euro size which usually means 1/2 size up from your US size. For most shoes, I'm a 36.5 but for these and CLs, I'm a 37. Hope that helps :)

hahaah... you know, your prada black heels is the least attracting cause' you have way to fabulous heels.....by comparison. haaha..

Also, girl, you do like oxford and exotic skin type of shoes...you know, you are right, right now I am looking for flat oxford very hard too. :P But i don't think it will be soon for me to buy it since I just let myself go splurge a bit ....

Oh, you look the best for over 120mm heels as they really elongate your calves to the most sexy looking!!! :)

last, the A. Mcqueen sling back is very good looking on you... I am surprised as I thought they might not look that fierce on feet.

Thank you so much for such detailed pic.

I'm new to reading your blog but I love your sense of humor and the intensity of your no-hold-barred approach to shopping :). Anyways, I love all the colors and materials you have in the "standards" and also love the Miss Fred, Wall St (so precious), and YSL Veras. You should wear the Somewheres more, they look really amazing on you! - Michelle

Purse Addict said...

Rachel - thank you!! Yea, I stand tall at 5 feet 2 inches so flats and anything under 100mm is not my friend :P Are your splurges the shoes?? If so, they were fabulous deals!! I agree abt the Alexander McQ shoes - I have to credit my NM SA for those funky beauties. He talked me into trying them on but had he not done so, I never would've went for them on my own!

Thank you, elanie :)

BCBG - HAHAHHA...I knew someone would notice my one and only pair of flats!! I'm going to update today with my TB flats so the Fendi wont be so lonely :P

Thank you, Michelle! So glad you found my blog and find me even remotely funny and amusing :) LOL abt the no-barred shopping habit :P In a few months, that will turn into the completely barred from shopping habit :(

Bon Chic Bon Genre said...

WOWOWOWOOWW!! Bravo bravo!! The first thing that is in my mind when I saw these pix is "how much time did you spend to take all these fabulous pictures?"!!! I know that this requires lots or hard work! (I did that for my Chanel family shot and it took me more than 6 hours to complete the whole process!) Thanks so much for sharing with us your wonderful collection of shoes! We are twins in some but girl, you are truly a CL queen! :D Now we're talking! LOL!!! I'm so glad I'm not alone in this "shoe addiction" thing! :D I have to show your pix to my DH!! :P You know, I wish I have a closet like yours which is very big (but impossible in a place so small like Hong Kong)! So organized with the shoe boxes! My shoe room is a mess! Hahahaha!

I really love your McQueen and Alaia heels BTW. The McQueen one was actually in my "purchase list" before but no sizes for my big foot. You have a great collection beyond compare! Enjoy them all in good health! :D

Cheers,
Mia

Oh. My. Gawd! I am dying over your insanely fabulous shoes! It's like a celebrity's collection, if not better! My heart longs to own a pair of Cl's one day...after I finish college and get a good (hopefully) paying job. I have to follow your blog ;)

Purse Addict said...

Thank you Renee and Beautygirl! Heres to both of you getting your first CLs in the very near future ;)

PS: If you ever need a style or SA, just leave me a comment with your email and I will help out however I can!

Your shoe and purse collection should be preserved. I suggest that you should boxed or slabbed your shoes and purses like NGC(Numismatic Guarantee Corporation) and PCGS(Professional Coin Grading Service) does to rare coins and banknotes. I see so many Christian Louboutin Pumps in your collection. So how many Louboutin Pumps you own? In addition there is your friend Diane Smith of Central Illinous has at least 300 pairs of stiletto pumps in her collection! Finally, Please slab or box your shoes and purses and grade them as do at NGC and PCGS does to numismatic items!

Purse Addict said...

^^LOL...but then I can't wear or use them!! I'm about to hit 60 I think...its a sad day when you forget how many CLs you have...

Absolutely brilliant!!! One of the only reasons I bought my house was because of the huge walkin closet, to store my shoes & boots, thanks for sharing!

Purse Addict said...

Thank you, Marie!!

Closet-space is SO impt!!! My parents chose our new house bc it had a more land than the other lots but I personally might have gone with our neighbor's house - the master bedroom has his and hers walk-in closets PLUS a extra shoe closet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to see these photos in their full size. The link to photobucket is not working like your earlier pictures.

Purse Addict said...

^^sorry! I use photobucket when I have to upload massive amounts of pictures - this means less time uploading but the pictures are re-sized. When I have time, I'll go through and slowly re-size again since I've been getting so many comments from people abt the small picture size :P

a little late stumbling onto this blog, but wow, what a stunning collection! one question - i think heels are gorgeous, but i know i won't wear them unless they're comfortable. are any of the heels in your collection actually comfortable?

Linh Le said...

Where or how would you buy CL on sale?

Purse Addict said...

^^Most retailers will put the seasonal styles and colors on sale. BNY, NM, SAKs, the boutiques, etc.

Purse Addict said...

Oops, sorry Anonymous, overlooked your comment when I was replying to Linh! Actually out of all my heels, the Pigalle 120s are the only pair that make me cringe in pain. I'm good to go for all the others ;)

Nadia said...

Love your Christian Louboutin collection!! Where do you purchase your shoes?

Sarah said...

Okay. I am officially hating you right now for your amazing amount of gorgeous designer shoes. Completely dying with jealous rage and sadness.

sashita said...

hi!! i love the orlan louboutin heel, i have been looking all over for them and found them just recently, im usually a size 6 but in CL's im 5 maybe 5 1/2 but i really love these shoes, my feet are small and narrow, since your are clearly an expert in CL's what would you say? do they run large, small or TTS? are they comfortable? please please i need your help! thank you so much and congrats on u stunning collection! wow!

Purse Addict said...

Nadia-sorry for the super late response! I get my shoes from all over the place...boutiques, Saks, NM, BG, BNY, Matches Fashion, Browns Fashion, LVR, eBay, etc

sashita - hi! i would go TTS with the orlans. Since you have narrow feet, they should fit just fine and they're pretty comfy for 140s :)

Fabulous Fashion Finds said...

wow wow wow, love your shoes closet. I am trying to locate the Pigalle 120s in multi color after I saw them at Neimanmarcus.com while browsing their first call sale. They do not have my size, sadly 35.5 or 35 depends on the style. They don't look comfortable, but they are so pretty. After reading your comments about how hurt they are, I am thinking about going with the sling back glittered ones.

I love your blog! However I have a question. How would you wear your CL Mamimos? Would you wear them to formal occasions? Would you wear them casually? Would you consider them versatile? What color clothes would you pair them with? I'm considering getting a pair but the only thing stopping me is that I'm not sure what I'd wear them with. I'd really appreciate ur help in answering my question. :)

Purse Addict said...

^^I would say they lean more towards casual than formal. They're great with some tights and a cute dress or some skinny jeans and a cute top. HTH!

Serene said...

Hey babe u are like a CL goddess. Can I just check with you- i bought my very first pair from the only CL boutique in Singapore. I'm super excited but came home to see something disappointing. My inner sole crinkles. I am not sure if this is "supposed" to happen but when I called my SA she said it happens because it is hand made. Plus I notice a tiny splash of uneveness in the black. I mean, it looks like someone has taken a small flat brush and gave it another coat of paint near the "arch" of the heel..

I have bought black patent prorata and am totally new to patent products..
