Sometimes its just easier to buy a lot of shoes. Slightly less research and usually wont cost you over $1000 per pop (although thats fast becoming a thing of the past - DZ can tell you more about that...HAHAH). BUT my first love will always be purses :) I was lucky enough to snatch this Muse from the Rue La La sale a few weeks ago (for under $1000!!). Although the color is more of a teal than blue (which was what the description said...), I'm pretty stoked about this new addition. Muses are just so convenient and they have enough room for just about everything you would ever need to stuff in your purse. Ever since I bought my first Muse from the YSL summer 08 sale, I've had a craving for another but because my first Muse was so cheap (around $700ish...yea, I know), it was hard to get me to pay full price for another one. For awhile I was obsessed with the idea of getting one in ostrich but since I recently splurged on another exotic, I thought best to put that idea on the back burner. With this new addition, I get my Muse fix, I get my new purse fix, I get my steal fix, and I get my color fix. Now all I need is for my last 2 orders to arrive and I'm all set until the end of May ;)

I Haven't Forgotten About My Purses!!

oh, my, teal is my fav. color. well,...one of my fav. colors I must admit. Now you are get me into troubles... i always wanted to score YSL tote, may it be donwtown tote or Muse 1 or Muse 2.... I just love them all.
I LOVE my muse, I have a medium bronze metallic one. I didn't think I was going to give into the "it" bag status but when I finally did it was so worth it. That ruelala sale was pretty good, I almost bought those studded heels in the navy but someone stole them out of my cart! I didn't realize it doesn't hold things like hautelook and giltgroup.
litlstrawberry: I love YSL too...great styles for reasonable prices :) The Uptown would also be P E R F E C T for you!!!
heather: yea, rue lala is pretty cut throat...sorta forces you to immediately pull out the cc or face months of regret and self-damnation for being too slow :P your metallic brown muse sounds delicious...post pics!!
oh...right, uptown....not downtown. hahahaha..... too funny!! Ok, I guess it has been a while since the last time I checked out their bags. I am pretty occupied by Chanel these days.
well, they have a downtown AND a uptown...heheheh! both are great but i think you could totally rock the uptown :)
ps: i want a new chanel!! but i think i might have to wait until the end of the year :(
That was the one thing I didn't like about Rue La La. I like to think about things a little while they're in my cart, that's why I stick to Gilt and Hautelook I have more browsing time.
I'll have to dig up some pictures of my muse. There might be a picture hanging around on my blog of me with it in Miami this past January. I love it so much I kind of want to buy an oversize or large, the medium is a good size even though i'm 5'9'' I tend to overstuff bags and make them REALLY heavy. I've been contemplating about saving for a Chanel, but they haven't had any colors that interest me lately, I want something bright.
