Miss Fred

I realized yesterday I dont take enough pictures for this blog :( I'm hoping I wont be as busy next month but for sure by December, I'll have more free time on my hands. Until then, I'll try to snap daily (or as often as I can...) photos of my shoes via my handy dandy iPhone :)

It finally rained today. I hate driving in it but we sure as heck need it. The gloomy weather gave me an excuse to wear my Miss. Fred Tacco boots with some new tights I picked up over the weekend. These are about a 1/2 size too big but DZ and I were just talking this afternoon about how boots, booties, and oxfords are more forgiving if they are too big for you...no slippage because you're all zipped/tied/strapped in! You cant really see it because of the poor photo quality, but these have a gold specchio heel and trim. Gives it a "holiday" vibe...lol...

I love the contrast and the textured tights on you.
What would you pair w/ them? You don't have to post modeling but outfit only. :) I am very interested!!!

It is a more feminine look compared to flat oxford. I want to get a flat oxford but since I have Costume national heel one, I have not put it into action yet..... well, just a matter of time I guess. :)

Hello :)
Your blog is an inspiration.
I have a random bag related question. Do you have any idea what bag Dita Von Teese is carrying in the photos at:

http://justjared.buzznet.com/photo-gallery/2283751/dita-von-teese-rude-paparazzi-03/

I have searched high and low on the internet and think I need your help.

Thanks - I hope you can help.
Cheers
C

Hi Rachel: Yesterday I wore the shoes and tights with a gray dress and black cardigan. BTW...there is a flat version of Miss Fred out right now (Fred for $595) :) You should totally get it because you're one of the few who can pull it off!!!

Hi Anonymous: Thank you so much! You know I spent some time looking up that bag and I have no idea! I'll will try to do some more research but for now...sorry I was no help :P

Thank you elanie!

Hi purse addict :) I enjoy reading your blog and I admire your Christian Louboutin collection!

I love the Miss Freds! Do you know if they are still available? I checked out Saks.com and neiman marcus, but they dont seem to have it! :(

Anyways, I have a question about very prives...I am contemplating on whether to get the black patent prives with OR without the red detailing on the platform...I'm talking about these ones: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod42660004&parentId=cat17440733&masterId=cat5130731&index=4&cmCat=cat000000cat000141cat000149cat000199cat5130731cat17440733

What do you think?

Thank you so much!

Hi Myra! So glad that you enjoy my blog :) The Miss Fred's are unfortunately no longer available in stores but you can check eBay. If you're a bit weary abt eBay, just make sure you buy from a seller with positive feedback and ask for pictures of the soles. This will allow you to ensure that they've never been worn before.

As far as the VPs go...GET THEM WITH THE RED TIP!!! I know many people think its just a tiny part of the shoe but trust me, it makes a BIG difference!!

Hum... Jenny:
just because you said that I am among a few who can pull of the look....I must go check it out.

You know, it is interesting that I just updating my blog asking should I get a flat oxford..... for the sake of being fashion forward. haha....
